MediaLab 本着开放，自由，平等的原则组建。在本研究中心中，每个研究者，每个科研人员，包括每个老师，学生，大家都是自由平等的研究主体，尊重各自的天赋和研究兴趣。研究中心努力做到把最前沿的思想，最好的头脑聚集在一起，做有意义的研究和探索。通过研究中心这个方式实现每个人的创造力，让每个人有更丰富有意义的人生经历。

MediaLab@电子科大 致力于视觉信号处理与人工智能技术的前沿研究。我们相信在不久的未来，人工智能技术将成为推动生产力发展的关键性力量，与此同时，区块链等不断涌现的新科技新技术将在各个层面影响人类社会关系。在信息技术快速发展的时代，保持热情，保持创新，努力达到世界一流的研究水准是MediaLab全体科研人员的目标和梦想。Medialab力图将科学的理论和产业的需求深度结合，其团队研究方向包括但不仅限于下面几个方面：AIGC核心算法和应用, 视频压缩编码和处理，计算机视觉，群体智能，区块链共识等。

Research Topics：
MediaLab of UESTC  is focusing on the cutting edge research of general signal processing and 
information technologies. We have the insight the future world will be powered by Artificial 
Intelligence and will be organized by emerging new technologies such as BlockChain. 
We try to catch up with the booming information technologies and keep our research on the top 
of the world.  For signal processing, we are working especially on  Video Compression,  Photo 
Quality Assessment, Media Content Analysis, Artificial Intelligence Security, and Blockchain Consensus.
